Next Month in This Awful Awesome Life - February 2021

February will hopefully bring a glimpse of the change we all need to see in 2021. COVID-19 vaccines are being administered. I know a few people who have received their first doses of the vaccine.

I’m hoping our healthcare workers, essential workers, and our most vulnerable citizens will be safe from the virus and our numbers will finally start to drop. My family and I are waiting for our turns, and I’d like everyone to get the opportunity to be immunized, so let’s stay safe until we’re all protected. Please keep wearing your mask, avoid crowds/large gatherings, and maintain socially distancing practices until we are all safe and immunized.

How will we celebrate Valentines Day this year? We have a recipe for a delicious Seafood Bisque and a Strawberry Spinach Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette dressing for a romantic meal. Finish your meal with chocolate covered strawberries or a sinfully delicious chocolate cheesecake. February is Black History Month, and we will be featuring some Black innovators and activists who may not be familiar to you.

Love and change will be our theme for the February issue.

Until then, I hope you have enjoyed our January issue.

Stay safe. You are important and you are loved.

All my best,

Fran
