In honor of Movember, one of our streaming articles featured films, mini-series, and television series starring men with mustaches. It was fun, and in that spirit, we decided a sequel was in order.
We all have our favorite actors with mustaches, and thanks to the many streaming services that are now creating original content, we have even more places to find them.
Will you be growing a mustache this month? Maybe there should be a documentary or feature film about Movember, and how its creation has helped raise funds and awareness for men’s health. The men who participate are great sports. There’s a lot of good natured ribbing about who can and can’t or should and shouldn’t grow a stache. Thank you to all who try! Enjoy!
Blue Bloods - the series has ended after 14 seasons, but it will be around for a long time on streaming platforms. Tom Selleck, one of our favorite mustachioed leading men plays NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan, and behind his desk is a portrait of Teddy Roosevelt former NYPD police commissioner, governor of New York, and U.S. president also sporting a mustache. I didn’t always agree with the tone of the series or how often Frank’s detective son, Danny, drew/fired his weapon or played hardball with a suspect, but the acting was always top notch. Frank has the ability to be the voice of reason and order in a chaotic world. Hopefully, we’ll occasionally see that familiar mustache on the Blue Bloods spin-off, Boston Blue. Streaming on Paramount+
