June is my birthday month, and this year it’s a big one, so Happy Birthday to me! We’re celebrating romance, Father’s Day, Children’s Day, Juneteenth, Pride Month, and the coming of summer. School’s out, and it’s time to kick back and spend some time enjoying beautigul weather, delicous food, and excellent company. We’re also celebrating Flag Day, but instead of an expansive parade, we shared the origins of Flag Day. FYI, the person responsible for creating Flag Day was the son of immigrants. He was a public school teacher, and the first Flag Day celebration involved public school chidren in a public park. Happy June!
