The September weather in Pittsburgh has been tremendous. We’ve enjoyed cooler weather and only a few storms, so far. It’s been great to open the windows and let in the fresh air! My cats are also enjoying the fresh air and their sunbaths.
School’s back in session, so watch out for thoses buses, and keep our kids safe!
I hope you enjoyed Labor Day, and you took a moment to be grateful to the men and women who fought for your right to a 40 hour week, overtime, sick days, and better working conditions.
We remember 9/11, the lives lost, friends and families still mourning, and our brave first responders. Let’s honor their sacrifices by coming together and loving and caring for each other instead of allowing people in power to divide us.
We stand with the banned during Banned Books Week and all through the year. We support anyone’s right not to read something, but we will not support the practice of cherry picking what offends you then using it to prevent others from finding representation in the books they read.
