The August 2026 "Same Word Different Meaning Quiz" by Fran Joyce

Words can have different meanings or be associated with different things, like band names, book or movies titles, and even people’s names. For example, the word, “mint” can refer to any member of a family of aromatic plants such as peppermint or spearmint, or a candy made from one of them. It can refer to something in excellent condition, or a place where coins are made.

Recognizing multiple definitions helps keep your brain sharp, expands your vocabulary, and it’s fun!
