April Showers bring more Rain. Last May was the rainiest since I started keeping records thirty years ago.
Some people say they love the sound of rain; I loathe it.
Stormy weather has brought me nothing but grief.
I lived through a flood, and the effects of Hurricane Ivan.
The water ran like a river right through my house. The next few storms wreaked havoc on a different property.
The sound of rain while I’m sleeping is anything but soothing. It wakes me in fear and apprehension.
Pennsylvania is not a great place to live if you don’t like rain.
Yes, I know it is necessary for crops and flowers. A gentle rain can be pleasant, especially if there is a rainbow. Excessive, damaging storms are not soothing.
My children tease me about my dislike of rain, but it is excessive in western Pennsylvania. I’m not sure about the statistics, but Pittsburgh must be in the top ten rainiest cities.
Wish my car ran on rainwater!
Wish I could pay my bills with rain.
Happy Spring! Stay dry & don’t forget your umbrella
